Eating and drinking well is another part of our vision. You’ll enjoy a magnificent buffet every morning in our spacious, sun-drenched breakfast room. We offer fresh whole-grain bread as well as Frankonian “Weckla” (rolls), together with homemade jams that are fruity and fresh with less sugar. And you’ll find assorted organic fruits, cereals and muesli, German “Wurst” and ham, twenty varieties of tea and an array of delicious cheeses from France, Switzerland, Denmark and, of course, Germany.
Like the hotel itself, our restaurant is a very special place. Rest assured that at Hotel Gruenwald your meals will be made with fresh ingredients, many of them obtained from local organic farmers. Our chef uses a light touch in the kitchen, preferring to let the natural flavors of the food come through clearly. And our menu often features dishes from Asia and the Mediterranean region that are both delicious and healthy.
Hotel Gruenwald’s restaurant is open weekdays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (cold meals, coffee and cake only from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
